The obstetrics department has specialist clinics, expert clinics, pregnancy nutrition specialist clinics and postpartum rehabilitation clinics, with an annual outpatient volume of 10,000. There are currently 8 doctors in the obstetrics department, including 1 chief physician, 1 deputy chief physician, and 6 attending physicians, all of whom have undergraduate degrees, and 2 of them are studying for postgraduate degrees. The department routinely performs natural delivery, accompanied delivery, free-position delivery, and painless delivery. It also performs obstetric surgeries such as forceps-assisted delivery, lower uterine segment cesarean section, uterine balloon tamponade, and B-Lynch suture technology. It also performs balloon induction, postpartum Pelvic floor rehabilitation, diastasis rectus abdominis repair treatment, newborn oil bath, umbilical cord blood collection and other projects. Schools for pregnant women are conducted regularly. The department has built a scientific research workstation for obstetrics doctoral students, which can carry out techniques such as cervical cerclage, breech external inversion, complex twin surgery, and treatment of dangerous placenta previa. The department focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of high-risk pregnant women with complications of pregnancy, such as gestational diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, tumors, urinary system diseases, etc., and has treated many high-risk pregnant women. The level of diagnosis and treatment is at the forefront of Fuyang area, and it is responsible for the treatment of high-risk pregnant women in Fuyang area.
