From 1990 to 1994, department director Yu Haicai and head nurse Shen Zhouxiang were the pioneers of surgery and the founder of neurosurgery in our hospital. Neurosurgery was founded in 1990. It is a regional co-constructed discipline in Hangzhou and a key medical discipline in Fuyang District. Neurosurgery currently has high-precision medical equipment such as Zeiss operating microscopes, ventriculoscopes, intracranial pressure monitors, craniotomy power systems, DSA machines, hyperbaric oxygen chambers, and 64-slice spiral CTs. 【Scientific research results】
Our department is responsible for one provincial health department project and a number of Hangzhou city department and bureau-level subjects. The whole department publishes several papers in SCI journals and core journals (including the "China" series of journals) every year. Many people from our department participate in domestic academic conferences at all levels every year, and actively participate through conference speeches, exhibition boards and paper exchanges. Domestic academic activities have brought advanced medical concepts and diagnostic and treatment technologies at home and abroad back to the department, and have been successively applied in clinical practice, achieving good results.
