Currently, the Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery can independently perform highly difficult surgeries including resection of massive liver cancer, radical resection of high-level cholangiocarcinoma, pancreaticoduodenectomy, radical resection of gallbladder cancer, and combined diagnosis and treatment of complex hepatobiliary stones. It pioneered laparoscopic surgery in Fuyang City in the early 1990s and has completed more than 10,000 laparoscopic cholecystectomies so far. In recent years, transumbilical single-port laparoscopic cholecystectomy, non-pneumoperitoneum laparoscopic surgery, laparoscopic choledocholithotomy, laparoscopic liver lobectomy, laparoscopic liver tumor resection, and laparoscopic portal surgery have also been carried out. Minimally invasive surgeries such as hypertensive splenectomy, laparoscopic gastrointestinal cancer radical resection, laparoscopic gallbladder cancer radical resection, laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenectomy, etc. Many laparoscopic technical levels have reached the advanced position in the country. . In recent years, the department has introduced duodenoscopes, pioneered the ERCP technology in the city, and carried out the treatment of extrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct stones under the combination of two and three microscopes. At the same time, it has also carried out a number of hepatobiliary and pancreatic interventional techniques, including percutaneous , transhepatic and ERCP biliary stent implantation technology, intraoperative radiofrequency and bedside radiofrequency ablation technology, making the multidisciplinary treatment level of hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery in line with international standards. It is responsible for the "medical, teaching, research" and clinical quality control tasks related to the district and Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
